Alpine View Motel offers a unique country environment which caters to an ever-increasing group of travellers. Our motel creates a homely atmosphere where guests become temporary members of a larger family while still allowing whatever degree of privacy is preferred. We are the only motel in Kaikoura town with beach access on NZ State Highway 1. We are in a beautiful setting with many of our guests enjoying the mountain sunsets and beach sunrises. The motel has a variety of settings to suit the mood or needs of individuals or small groups - whether you*re eating drinking watching television using the children*s playground or browsing in our small library. At our motel you will be treated as a guest in our home - not just a customer. This is a place you will enjoy returning to at the end of the day or for your next vacation. Our motel has a guest laundry with a cot and highchair available on request. There is a large off-road parking area situated right outside your unit and we even have space for your boat. We also offer courtesy transport to the bus or railway station but we do require early notification and are limited single or couples only at one time. We offer continental and cooked breakfasts and on request a complimentary newspaper will be delivered to your doorstep. All our units are smoke free. All 12 apartments are ground floor with parking at the door. We have a range of apartments with studio one-bedroom and two-bedroom family apartments. All are spacious and away from the road in a lawn and garden setting. All are fully self-contained and serviced daily. Alpine View Motel has its own beach access so bring your walking shoes and fishing rods and try surfcasting off the beach or enjoy an evening stroll along our beautiful coastline. We have a playground for the children and for the adults 2 gas family barbecues with picnic tables situated around our garden.
