CONSCIOUS HOTEL MUSEUM SQUARE

Our first ever Conscious Hotel - Museum Square - has been completely renovated. Its even more eco - even more sexy and we have gone for a bit of an arty look. We havent moved it. Its still located in the Museum district - opposite the Concert Hall or Concertgebouw - the perfect starting point for a bit of culture on your city trip. And we have got 36 luxurious rooms and a courtyard garden for you to relax and unwind in. The interior design was inspired by the flowing shapes and colors of Willem de Kooning abstract expressionist paintings. De Koning once said -even an abstract form has to have a likeness- which perhaps explains why so many people see horses in his paintings. We are still always looking for the most sustainable choice. The breakfast is organic - there are solar panels on the roof and all furniture is made from certified or recycled materials. For example - used clothes and hotel linen has been compressed to form cupboards and shelves in the lobby. Note guests are reminded not to leave any clothes behind as they may be used for building wardrobes Conscious Hotel Museum Square might be close to the Van Gogh Museum - Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum but its no museum piece - goodness no - its got a hip - contemporary feel to it. And it even has a garden perfectly suited for birdwatching - daydreaming or having breakfast. Please note we are a cashless hotel and accept card only. The hotel was totally refurnised in March 2019
