ENGEL HOTEL ZOFINGEN

The 3-star Hotel Engel is situated in the centre of the pretty Swiss town of Zofingen- a walled city and home of an ancient monastic settlement. It is less than an hour from the cities of Zurich- Bern- Basel and Lucerne. From Zofingen train station it is a short walk to the hotel. A member of Small Elegant Hotels- the Engel offers comfortable and stylish accommodation. All 39 rooms have Free high speed WIFI- Flatscreen TV with satellite channels- Room safe- Mini Fridge- Work desk and Direct dial telephone. En suite bathrooms have large Walk-in shower or Bath and shower combination and Hairdryer. There is not a full-service restaurant but the hotel serves a delicious Buffet Breakfast daily and there is a wide choice of dining options nearby. The Engel has a Bar offering a wide range of beverages and a comfortable lounge area. Guests are offered a discount at the Health and Fitness centre located 150m away. The hotel is in a pedestrianised area but it is possible to drive up to the hotel to offload luggage. Parking is available nearby and is free of charge from 8pm to 8am and on Sundays. For all other times guests can purchase parking tickets directly at the hotel. - Additional Information A child up to 2 years can use a cot free of charge. A child up to 13 years can use a cot or extra bed at an additional charge of CHF15 per child per night. 14 years and over can use an extra bed on request only at an additional cost of CHF 30 per child per night. Fees are not calculated automatically in the total cost and will have to be paid for on arrival. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.
