GOLDENER SCHLUESSEL

The 3 star Goldener Schluessel Hotel and Restaurant is the oldest hotel inn in Berne . It is situated in the center of Bern Old Town- a UNESCO World Heritage site- a mere 99 steps from the famous Zyglogge Clock Tower. It is easily accessible to all that Bern has to offer. The interior of the hotel is modern but still retains some of the characteristics of its venerable past in the shape of vaulted ceilings and wooden arches. All 34 rooms have parquet flooring- modern furnishings and standard features include Free High Speed WIFI-Flat screen TV- Room Safe and Direct dial telephone. The en suite Bathrooms have Showers and a Hairdryer is provided. The Goldener Schlussel Restaurant offers a true taste of Switzerland with classic dishes using local and regional produce all complimented by an extensive wine list. The restaurant is open six days a week for Breakfast- Lunch and Dinner. It is closed on Sundays but Breakfast is still served for resident guests. Parking is available at an additional charge in two public car parks a 5-minute from the hotel. It is a 10 minute stroll to Bern Railway station. Additional Information - One child under 6 years stays free of charge in a room with parents in existing bedding. Children aged 6 to 14 years pay CHF 15 per night.
