Hotel Monastere is favourably located in the city centre of Maastricht.
As its name suggests - the 4-star boutique hotel is based in a former monastery - dating from the 14th-century. Original details of the impressive building have been restored and preserved - but theres no need to be afraid of medieval circumstances. Today the luxury designed hotel showcases contemporary art and designer furniture. Combined with elements of 14th-century architecture such as the marble fireplaces - ornamental ceilings - stained glass windows and brick walls - the hotel features a magnifique - Parisian chic decor.
It also has its very own French bistro Cafe Louis serving breakfast - lunch and dinner.
